The name’s Lorissa (but everyone calls me Lo) and I'm 5'3 hints the "little" part! I am a 20 something year old college student who is slowly but surely working on getting her AS degree in Social Science so she can then continue on the college path in order to become a Christian Counselor. I desire to become a Christian counselor because I believe through personal experience, having faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to truly find healing from our pasts. When I’m not working on school work, I am either working for an awesome after school childcare program, or finding new ways to keep from being bored. Some of those ways are: hanging out with friends, watching documentaries, catching up on my shows, shopping, crafting, and of course blogging!

Why in the world do you even have a blog?
I started blogging because I struggle with craving attention.
Wait…what??? Did she really just say that?!?
Yeah I did! Ok so I know it sounds bad, but if plenty of bloggers were honest with everyone…they would probably say the same thing….why else would anyone share about themselves to billions of complete strangers if a part of them didn’t have a little craving for attention…It’s not wrong to want attention, it’s totally a normal desire and to use blogging as an outlet is a great healthy way to deal with this craving!
How is blogging a healthy way to deal with wanting attention?
Well for me, if I want more attention, I know that means I need to be super creative with my posts to keep readers interested. Through this I have learned to be more outgoing, lowered my pessimism, gained more self-confidence, met tons of interesting people, visited new places, and gives me a place to share about my faith in Christ!
What is your blog about?
It’s about EVERYTHING! Haha I don’t have a set focus for this blog. First off, the name "Little Lorissa" came from this one girl I knew who called me that all the time! I felt like it was kind of catchy and also the fact that I am 5'3 made it even more appropriate. When it comes to the posts I basically talk about whatever I feel I want people to know, I post! What you will find a lot on it are crafts that I have done, fashion, food, people/things that interest me, trips I’ve been on, and whatever else is on my mind I feel like sharing!
