How in the world is it 12am? Where did time go? One minuet I'm at school and the next I am in front of my lovely little pink computer typing a post! Oh wait it is all coming back to me...
It started by me going on pinterest looking at my pins...
Like these cute necklaces I found
After seeing these pins of mine, I decided to dig through my random assortment of materials and found this fabric Leney blessed me with a couple of months ago
....And next thing I know I'm coated in strings, super glue, pin pricked fingers, and a floor covered in crafting supplies!
This is only a small portion of my mess
after hours (yes I said hours)
I came up with a few items...
:)
Uh I love pinterest!

Breaking my no show "chain"
Hey guys! Long time no see! I know it has been a while since my last post…It’s not my fault school tends to be a time suck. :/
I saw these recently and fell in love with them!
A) I love my Ray Bans too much to buy these
~Wire cutters (My pliars can also cut wire and I found my at at craft store)
~an eye-wear beaded chain ($1 at Dollar Tree)
~silver chain (3.99 at Michael’s)
~ruler
~About 10mins to spare
That being said, this week was my spring break, and it was lovely! I managed to not only knock out some school work, but I got to FINALLY do some crafting after getting some inspiration from pinterest(include link)! I made a few wooden Virginia pendants (I will create another post about them soon!), some jewelry, and other unique items.
Among some of the other creations was interesting way to keep from losing my sunglasses!I saw these recently and fell in love with them!
What a great way to mix function with style, and since I only have 2 glasses and 1 glasses case, and switching out gets annoying!
However, I found 2 problems with them… A) I love my Ray Bans too much to buy these
B) There is no way I would consider the thought of using super glue anything on them.
But I came up with an idea to put those concerns to rest!
What I used:
~A set of needle nose pliers~Wire cutters (My pliars can also cut wire and I found my at at craft store)
~an eye-wear beaded chain ($1 at Dollar Tree)
~silver chain (3.99 at Michael’s)
~ruler
~About 10mins to spare
1.) Measure out the premade chain
2.) Use your pliers to carefully spread apart the jump rings which attach the rubber hoops to the chain and set both the jump rings aside.Me being the frugal chick that I am, I decided that the beads and the wire they were on were too good to throw away!
3.) Measure out the chain of your preference and cut to the desire length (I preferred to mine be a little lower so mine measured out to be 33in)
4.) Attach the jump rings and the rubber hoop combo to the new chain
And there ya go!
Hope ya’ll have a lovely week!
P.S I changed my hair back to pink :)
